Reel-and-real life celebrity couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla admitted that to star in a new TV series poses an enormous challenge for them.
In the Inside News of Star Magic, the couple shared their excitement about going back to the small screen via a new series after the last one four years ago.
“After four years na wala kami sa TV, ito na magbabalik na kami at magte-taping na kami very soon. Siyempre para sa aming dalawa ay challenging din na gumawa ng panibagong kuwento sa dami ng aming nagawa. So one year in the making. Ano pa ba ang puwede naming gawin na something new for the people, para sa mga manonood kung ano pa ba ang puwede naming mai-offer.”
Padilla confesses it is challenging to bring in a new flavor that they could offer to the viewers.
He is excited that they will start their taping soon.
“Extra challenging ang gumawa ng isang project sa sitwasyon natin kasi ang hirap gumalaw in this pandemic. So sana ‘yon maging maayos ang lahat. Pero overall ay excited kami ni DJ. Parang kailangan lang naming bumuwelo. Parang nagsi-sink in lang siya sa amin unti-unti pero kapag nandoon na with the production and everyone, I think this is going to be a fun journey, “Bernardo said.
Bernardo and Padilla will star in their comeback teleserye 2G2BT (2 Good 2 Be True), which will be directed by Mae Cruz Alviar.
Joining the couple are other notable stars like Ronaldo Valdez, Gloria Diaz, Irma Adlawan, Gelli de Belen, Romnick Sarmenta, Cris Villanueva, and Smokey Manaloto.
