However, it was a joke and there is no confirmation that they will have a BL project together.
Pangilinan rose to prominence because of his role in the 2020 BL series Gaya Sa Pelikula where he starred with Ian Pangilinan. Following its success, the said series will have its season 2 soon without its original writer Juan Miguel Severo who was accused of sexual harassment.
In RAWR Awards 2020, Ian and Paolo bagged the BL Tandem of the Year, proving that they indeed stood out among the other BL love teams.
Meanwhile, Piolo Pascual last starred in a TV series in 2018 for the ABS-CBN teleserye Since I Found You. He is expected to return on TV next year, as he is partnered with Lovi Poe to star in the Filipino adaptation of the hit South Korean series Flower of Evil.
