After eight years on the GMA Network, actor Roi Vinzon is now on ABS-CBN after being included in the new cast of actors in the sixth season of the longest-running action-drama series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
The said series is Vinzon’s first Kapamilya TV series. Vinzon will play an antagonist to Cuneta’s role in FPJAP.
The news about him being a Kapamilya started when the actor got spotted in Rosanna Roces’s post about a steak dinner hosted by Cuneta for Ang Probinsyano cast during the show’s taping break on November 25.
The said dinner included other new cast additions–Sharon Cuneta, Julia Montes, John Estrada, Rosanna Roces, and Vangie Labalan for the sixth anniversary of the series.
Aside from that, Vinzon was also in Rosana’s deleted post with Labalan and Cuneta. In the said post, the actress stated that she is happy for the chance to work with the previously mentioned actors.

According to Roces, the lead star Coco Martin dedicated everything for the last year of the said program.
Vinzon is known as a loyal Kapuso after appearing regularly on GMA Network shows since 2013.
He starred in various teleseryes on GMA. These include My Husband’s Lover (2013), Carmela (2014), Second Chances (2015), Encantadia (2016), Pamilya Roces (2018), Descendants of the Sun (2021), and Agimat ng Agila (2021).
He is still with the Kapuso prime-time series To Have and To Hold, which will conclude in three weeks.
However, he is no longer among the featured artists on the current website of GMA Artist Center.
