After Toni Gonzaga drew ire from ABS-CBN supporters, several netizens, including Kapamilya staff on Thursday, February 10, shared their bad experiences after working with the host-turned vlogger-and now a BBM supporter.
Gonzaga was known to be an exemplary public figure and a devout Christian. However, Mark Ghosn, a theater actor, had a traumatic experience with her.
When he was still a college, he volunteered to assist Gonzaga but was shocked that she threw a soiled tissue paper at his face after wiping her armpits.
Ghosn realized Gonzaga’s attitude made his classmates not offer to become her assistant.

Ghosn explained that he was only sharing his personal experience with Gonzaga.

He even urged the public to be critical and not be swayed by their eagerness to defend Gonzaga.
Ghosn added that “enablers need to be called out and exposed but remember what/who the real enemy is.”

A Kapamilya employee even refuted the claims that Gonzaga was an “angel.”
She revealed that she was never kind to the production staff.

In a separate post, Esguerra got “disappointed” how Gonzaga being the diva that she was on the set, hosted Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s proclamation rally, and introduced Rep. Rodante Marcoleta.

Meanwhile, Kapamilya writer Noreen Capili justified why some ABS-CBN staff opened up about Gonzaga’s real attitude.
Capili pointed out that despite the Kapamilya Network defending her from criticisms and not exposing her bad side–she betrayed the Station whom she was part of for 16 years.

A netizen also shared on Capili’s thread how Gonzaga acted high and mighty as a churchgoer.
According to her, Gonzaga, as opposed to Kapamilya actor Piolo Pascual whom she described as “very accommodating.”

Carlo Yanesa, one of the laid-off employees of ABS-CBN after it shut down, admitted he “loved” Gonzaga as a co-worker. However, he was triggered after she showed support to Marcos and introduced Marcoleta.

Due to the controversy, Gonzaga got compelled to resign as Kapamilya reality game show Pinoy Big Brother’s main host.
