Alex Gonzaga exposed her sister Toni Gonzaga as ‘unbothered’ to bashing due to the latter being a ‘strong’ person.
In Karen Davila’s new vlog uploaded on February 19, the younger Gonzaga recalled how her older sister already experienced being criticized at a young age.
“Knowing my sister, I know she’s a strong person. And I know hindi siya dadalhin ni Lord doon nang hindi siya ready. So, my sister was bashed even before nung bata pa. She was bullied pre-school pa lang as in hanggang sa pag-aartista niya.
“During that time, I think she was so equipped and so ready for that and I think that the Lord will not give that to me because I think my sister is stronger, more independent,”
Alex stated that her sister got bullied in her pre-school days until she entered the entertainment industry.
“Matapang talaga ang ate ko as a person. Kaya nga sabi ko, siguro talagang ano siya, she was really born for this kasi kaya niya. Ako, baka ‘di ko kaya pero ang ate ko kayang-kaya niya talaga,” she added.
On February 9, Toni stepped down as the main host of the reality show Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) after her former fellow Kapamilyas aired their sentiments regarding her introduction of Rodante Marcoleta, one of the lawmakers who pushed for ABS-CBN’s broadcast shutdown.
“I will forever cherish the memories, big nights, and moments in my heart. Thank you, Kuya for everything. This is your angel, now signing off…” she wrote.
