Ruffa Gutierrez admitted that it is an honor to be mistakenly identified as a gay person.
On the March 9 episode of It’s Showtime, during the Sexy Babe segment, Vice Ganda asked Gutierrez how would she react to some situations.
“Ruffa, ilang months na ‘yan?” Vice asked Gutierrez how she would react if she were mistakenly identified as a pregnant woman.
“Hello? Look at your body first before you say that to me,” Gutierrez responded.
“So may offense?” Vice questioned.
“Yeah, especially if flat ang tiyan ko, like do you need glasses? Sorry I’m just being honest,” Gutierrez answered.
“Eh, Ruffa, kung ano, kung mapagkamalan kang bakla,” Vice asked Gutierrez again.
“They always say na mukha akong bakla and I’m like, ‘So? It’s an honor to look gay.’ Mas type kong magmukhang bakla.”
Gutierrez admitted she prefers to be mistakenly identified as a gay person than a pregnant woman.
“Kung mapagkamalan kang lalaki?” Vice pursued.
“Sa laki ng boobs ko? I think they really need glasses… I won’t mind them na lang. Hair flip na lang sila. Ako [I am mistaken] usually [as] trans or bakla,” Gutierrez stated confidently.
