The packaging of AIRMARS N1 comes in black color–you can see the printed headset itself on the front and specification at the back. Inside the box are the headset, manuals, and free sticker.
The headset looks premium. Earcups are connected to the headband that has an anti-violence spring steel bar. There is a logo printed on the earcups and their lights. On the top of the headband, there is the embossed logo of Monster. The cushion on the headband has nice padding to provide comfort during long gaming use.
An adjustment for volume is at the back of the earcup’s left part. The built-in microphone is flexible. It can be adjusted around 360 degrees of use.
The entire headset is made of plastic so it does weigh light and has comfort in your head when using. The foam on the ear cups is very soft and comfortable.
The headset interface connection comes with a USB and 3.5mm headphone jack. Connecting the headset is so easy, just plug the USB and the headphone jack into the port of the computer or laptop. You can still use the headset even if the headphone jack only is connected. The USB connection makes the red light effect on the headset.
As for the sound, the output quality is good with nice highs and lows. The sound quality is not extraordinary.
It should fulfill your gaming needs. You can feel the explosions and rumbles when playing first-person shooter games. Voice quality is decent since the microphone is close to your mouth, there is minor noise, and sometimes the voice is muffled when heard by the other player or side.
The Monster Airmars N1 gaming headset’s price is PHP 2,099 with a free speaker and gaming pad. It sounds nice. Not incredible, but good for the price point.
