Showbiz columnist and talent manager Ogie Diaz defended VP Leni Robredo from bashers who criticized her viral photo of her–ironing her daughter’s toga.
On May 15, Robredo and her daughters, Aika and Tricia, flew to New York to attend the graduation of her youngest child, Jillian.
In VP Robredo’s Instagram story, she posted a photo of herself ironing Jillian’s toga for graduation.
The Vice President’s act then trended online and even made the headline of several news outlets.
Some netizens then criticized the Robredo matriarch and said that what she did wasn’t newsworthy.
In his tweet on May 17, Ogie Diaz defended Robredoi and said that the bashers are simply jealous.

Some supporters even noted that the Vice President’s bashers are [just] jealous because her daughter graduated from college while their presidential bet did not.
Ogie then retweeted a post from a netizen who said that the bashers get triggered over Robredo’s simple acts but are silent towards government corruption.

This was not the first time that Diaz defended VP Leni from bashers online.
He previously slammed trolls for spreading the alleged sex tape of Robredo’s daughter.
He also blasted Fake News King Jay Sonza for criticizing the Vice President’s viral bangka ride photo.
