Sarah Geronimo’s rumored transfer to GMA Network is fake news, according to an article of Balita published on Tuesday, June 21.
The article said fans just made the news according to an interview of PEP with GMA Network personnel.
The article wrote, “Ayon sa ulat ng Philippine Entertainment Portal o PEP, nang tanungin daw nila ang mga taga-GMA ay itinanggi nila ito at fake news daw; wala silang naririnig tungkol, at gawa-gawa lamang daw ng fan based- groups.”
ABS-CBN’s reality singing competition, The Voice Kids, was also rumored to be shown on GMA Network. This rumor was also not true.
The show’s original coaches are composed of Lea Salonga, Bamboo Mañalac, and Geronimo. Manalac and Geronimo are set to return as coaches for The Voice Kids next season, along with Julie Anne San Jose and Pops Fernandez. Xian Lim is speculated to host the show.
Chief Executive Officer of Viva Films Vic Del Rosario assured Geronimo would stay as a Kapamilya and return to ASAP Natin ‘To in July 2022.
The Popstar Royalty will perform monthly for the said musical noontime show.
