On May 28, Anne Curtis’s long-awaited return to the ABS-CBN noontime show, It’s Showtime trended on social media.
While many expressed excitement for her return, others started to speculate that Kim Chiu, who’s also hosting the noontime show, would get removed from the said show.

Talent manager-host-comedian and vlogger Ogie Diaz weighed into the speculations of viewers through his YouTube Channel, noting that Chiu was not a filler for Curtis.
It’s Showtime welcomed her as a new host.
“Si Kim Chiu ngayon ay hindi naman aalisin. Mananatili pa rin si Kim Chiu. Hindi naman panakip-butas lang si Kim Chiu ni Anne Curtis. Dahil winelcome si Kim Chiu bilang new addition sa ‘It’s Showtime’ family.”
He also pointed out that the Kapamilya noontime show is currently stronger with the current lineup of hosts.
“Mas maganda nga ‘yung mas matibay, mas malakas na ngayon ang puwersa ng ‘It’s Showtime’.”
Chiu officially joined the Kapamilya noontime show in September 2020 as one of their mainstay hosts after months as a guest artist.
