Kapamilya star Barbie Imperial has recently admitted having a past feud with a co-star on a set.
In her YouTube video uploaded on Wednesday, July 27, Barbie candidly answered questions from her fans and followers.
One of the questions thrown at her was: “May celebrity ka ba na nakaaway mo?”
Without batting an eyelash, she answered that yes and confirmed she quarreled with a female co-star on the set of their show.
“Itong girl na to….. nag-away kame sa taping. Actually hindi lang naman ako yung kaaway nya, halos lahat kame kaaway nya sa taping.
“Totoo nakaaway ko talaga sya, pero hindi naman ako yung nagtatanim na hanggang ngayon galit na galit pa rin ako, hindi naman ganon.”
She was then asked by her team to name the girl, to which she gamely complied, although it was bleeped in the video.
While no name was dropped in the video, back then Imperial and Heaven Peralejo figured in controversy during their stint in the Kapamilya afternoon drama Bagong Umaga.
She apparently took their slapping scene in Bagong Umaga personally.
She even took to social media to rant about the scene saying “Never in my whole acting life may sumampal sa akin na nagpasa sa mukha ko. Na kahit paulit-ulit mo i-remind na masakit na, gagawin pa din.
“Buong buhay ko sa showbiz wala akong nakaaway na katrabaho ko. Ang hirap kumalma. T*ngina.”
Imperial and Peralejo’s “real sampalan” scene came at the heels of the breakup issue between their co-star Kiko Estrada and Devon Seron, where Peralejo was accused as the third party.
After Seron posted a cryptic message on her Instagram account, Imperial, along with Chie Filomeno, and Ricci Rivero took turns in posting cryptic tweets, consecutive tweets that Netizens thought of a third-party issue involved.
Imperial even tweeted that she was in the mood for a hot tea, referring to the Devon-Kiko-Heaven issue.
