Netizens are asking if John Lloyd Cruz’s upcoming movie with the GMA Network is already being planned.
On June 27, via Instagram, GMA Films president and programming consultant to the GMA chairman and CEO Annette Gozon-Valdes posted a photo featuring Cruz.

Gozon-Valdes did not disclose any other information regarding what happened during the meeting.
On December 17, Cruz revealed that he set to get a pitch for a new Kapuso project.
“Especially sa panahon ngayon, matumal po ang trabaho. Napakalaking bagay na meron tayong ginagawa at marami pang puwedeng gawin.
“And alam ko, maraming maio-offer sina Sir Joey at si Ma’am Annette.
“In fact, di ba, Sir Joey, very soon meron tayong pitching, ‘no? Meron tayong meeting, ‘no?” Cruz said.
“Oo nga. Excited na rin ako dun. Malalaman niyo na rin ‘yan soon. Basta Lloydie, alam mo na,” Abacan stated.

The taping for the said series started in November 2021 and premiered on December 26 of the same year.
Cruz transferred to the GMA Network in November 2021 after being with the ABS-CBN Network for more than two decades.
