The graphic artist is responsible for the most sensational posters of ABS-CBN’s recent shows and movies.
Kapamilya fans and netizens expressed extra appreciation to Justin Besana, a graphic artist who designed the posters of some of ABS-CBN’s recent TV shows.
Besana worked for various Kapamilya units, including Dreamscape Entertainment and ABS-CBN Film Restoration. He is with Cornerstone Artists management.
On Twitter, netizens paid tribute to Besana’s brilliance, with most mentioning the caliber of his work and the creative mind he employed to design them. The streak of commendations sprung online when ABS-CBN’s drama unit JRB Creative Production released a teaser poster for the highly-anticipated TV adaptation of Darna, starring Jane de Leon.
The said poster contains several Easter eggs that stirred excitement among viewers. A silhouette of Darna flying to the sky, behind ruins resembling the red-costumed superhero’s headdress, and a serpent creeping forward–are some Easter eggs the fans and netizens happily pointed out.

SKY ARCHIVES noted some of the Easter eggs he found and expressed his admiration toward Besana . “CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS HOLLYWOOD CALIBER POSTER??? ABSCBN ATE AND LEFT NO CRUMBS???? THE DARNA SILHOUETTE!??? THE SNAKE FORSHADOWING VALENTINA??!!? THE RUINS RESEMBLING DARNA’S HEAD DRESS?!?! OH MY GOD WERE GONNA BE TUNED IN I FEAR” his tweet reads.

Other netizens, meanwhile, brought to attention the other sensational works of Besana, especially for the Kapamilya Network.
The graphic artist also designed the viral posters for FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’s Year 6, Marry Me, Marry You, Love in 40 Days, The Broken Marriage Vow, and Flower of Evil. He also designed dozens of sleek posters for ABS-CBN Film Restoration.

Darna, The TV series arrives next month (August) via ABS-CBN’s platforms, including A2Z and TV5. The ambitious project, which took advantage of ABS-CBN’s state-of-the-art Sound Stages in Bulacan, is helmed by award-winning director Chito Roño.
Jane de Leon stars in the title role.
