During the media conference for Nakarehas na Puso with the press, including LionhearTV, on September 15, Kapuso actress Jean Garcia compared doing Kontrabida roles VS Bida roles.
Garcia said she found doing Kontrabida roles fun to portray because of how she could experiment with different looks.
“Pero kasi pag Kontrabida kasi, ang sarap lang niya i-arte, ang sarap niyang– well, lahat, pati pananamit niya, pati buhok, you can do everything. Pwede kang mag-kuko, pwede kang magmakapal na make-up, pwede kang walang make-up, pwede kang magpulang lipstick, lahat pwede mong laruin, pwede mong gawin, kaya siya challenging.”
However, she admitted it was more challenging because of the emotional toll.Â
As for Bida roles, she described them as emotionally draining because of all the crying scenes she had to do.
Nasasaktan ka, physically and emotionally.
She explained that protagonist roles could help actors vent out or release their emotional struggles.Â
Jean Garcia stars in Nakarehas na Puso alongside Vaness Del Moral, Michelle Aldana, Edgar Allan Guzman, and Leandro Baldemor.
