Netizens slammed broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez after her recent Instagram post with the first family.
Sanchez shared photos of herself with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and his family during the Masskara Festival activities in Bacolod on Monday, October 24.
In the caption, Korina said that part of her work at the Masskara Festival was to follow the First Family in their activities.
She narrated that work at the Masskara Festivities included following the First Family around Bacolod. She also shared that President BBM’s presence brought more excitement to the said event.
Sanchez exclaimed, “… masaya sila as this is the first open Masskara Festival after two years + the price of sugar has never been this good for the farmers in 11 years!”
She also lauded the Marcos family, particularly First Lady Liza Marcos, for her contributions to the Kalipay foundation. The First Lady has long supported Kalipay, a shelter for abused, abandoned, and traumatized children.
Sandro Marcos was described by Sanchez as “interview-shy” despite people praising and admiring the young Congressman.
Several netizens however didn’t like how Korina framed her Instagram post.

@heavilyyours also reacted by sharing her disappointment over Korina’s post. She also asked how would Mar Roxas react to his wife’s post.

Meanwhile, aside from critics, there were also netizens who defended Sanchez saying she’s only doing her job as a journalist.
