GMA Public Affairs confirmed on November 15 that they would produce the Kapuso Network’s first digital exclusive narrative series, In My Dreams.
According to 24 Oras, the network confirmed that Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay would star in the first digital exclusive series.
The Lost Recipe fantasy romance series, starring Mikee Quintos and Kelvin Miranda, inspired the series.

Pablo expressed excitement over their upcoming project. She exclaimed, “It’ something different sa lahat ng nagawa namin, since meron nga po siyang touch of magic [and] realism.”
Ansay shared Pablo’s reaction, “Kasi nung nabasa pa lang namin ‘yung storyline, talagang ang ganda po nung twist niya. Tapos ‘yung story niya talagang nakakakilig. Kaya ngayon pa lang talaga nung binasa namin parang, ‘Wow! Super excited!’”
While this is a first for the Kapuso Network, other media companies, particularly ABS-CBN, have dabbled in digital streaming productions earlier in the pandemic. Through the iWantTFC App, they’ve already produced digital series hits like He’s Into Her, Bola-Bola, and Run To Me.
Already equipped with a digital app, Kapuso Network would have the distinct possibility of creating the first Kapuso digital series.
Pablo and Ansay are also working on another project, LUV IS: Caught in His Arms, which will feature Sparkle GMA Artist Management’s teen group, Sparkada.
