Along with the ‘what if’ trend online, the cast members of ‘Hello, Universe‘ shared their greatest what ifs.
During their press conference for their upcoming movie last January 12, actor-comedian-tv host Anjo Yllana recalls his dream to become a professional basketball player, specifically to be a PBA player.
He jokingly shared, “What if hindi ko tinanggap ‘yong offer na mag-artista, instead tinuloy ko [basketball], saan kaya ako pinulot?…anong barangay kaya ako nag-MVP?”
After his failed attempt to enter the basketball path, the actor auditioned for That’s Entertainment and started his career in showbiz. When he became part of the TV show, he met Janno Gibbs who he didn’t know would become his loyal ally.
The comedian said he was grateful to Gibbs. He also mentioned that all of his achievements right now are because of his friend Janno Gibbs. Yllana declared, “Swerte ako dahil meron akong kaibigan na isang Janno Gibbs.”
He affirmed that he considers Gibbs not only as a friend, a best friend but also as a brother. He stated , “…‘cause damayan na ‘to ng problema…ang number one na masasabi kong tumagal kasi is because of trust.”
On January 25, the duo will be back on the big screen together with director Xian Lim for their movie, ‘Hello, Universe’.
It tells the story of a man who wants to pursue a basketball career, matching Anjo’s greatest what if.
