It has been reported that an upcoming teleserye collaboration between GMA Network and ABS-CBN will be announced before the end of January which will be the rumored reunion of Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap, titled ‘Unbreak My Heart’.
According to a reliable source of PEP Troika, the formal announcement regarding the project is scheduled to be made on January 23. However, GMA-7’s Senior Vice President, Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes has yet to confirm this information.
Apparently, the majority of the scenes will be filmed in Switzerland. In addition, Kapamilya star Joshua Garcia will also appear in ‘Unbreak My Heart’. Despite being busy with the ongoing GMA Network series ‘Mga Lihim ni Urduja’, actress Gabi Garcia still landed a role in the upcoming project.
PEP stated that actress-director Laurice Guillen had been given an acting role in the project. When asked if filming in Switzerland would continue, Guillen said she wasn’t sure.
The actress-director shared, “As of now, it is February…pero meron pa kaming mga inaayos na ano. So, hindi pa ako sure, ha?”
‘Unbreak My Heart’ will be directed by Manny Palo and will only be aired on GMA Network.
However, the project’s confirmation isn’t that much of a surprise since rumors about it started months ago. In a viral post circulated on social media, photos show Yap and Sta. Maria together and a sign displaying the logos of ABS-CBN and GMA Network.
