On March 17, Kapuso artist Matt Lozano highlighted ‘Voltes V: Legacy’ as the first-ever resurgence of anime in the world.
At the media conference for GMA Regional TV for ‘Voltes V: Legacy’ in Davao City, Lozano noted the large-scale production behind the upcoming sci-fi series.
Lozano shared, “Well, unang-una, di ba sa buong mundo, this is the first live adaptation ng Voltes V sa buong mundo na gawa ng Pinoy. And tatak Pinoy talaga ‘to kasi alam naman natin na ang Philippines ang isa sa mga pinakamalaki na country na may fans ng Voltes V.”
He cited how the team behind the upcoming Kapuso series was 100% Filipino-made.
Lozano also appreciated the number of reaction videos that surfaced after GMA Network uploaded the trailer for ‘Voltes V: Legacy.’
He quipped, “Actually happy din ako na– nanonood din kasi ako ng reaction videos sa trailer and nakaka-proud kasi ang dami rin talagang na na-appreciate ‘yung gawa namin, ‘yung gawa ng production.”
He then voiced his confidence in how director Mark Reyes ensured the quality of the Kapuso series.
“…I’m very confident with Direk Mark, with the whole production kasi yung nga bantay sarado kami ng Telesuccess, nandoon ang Telesuccess sa set namin so every after take talagang binabantayan nila kami –so, I’m very confident.”
Lozano stars in the Kapuso Sci-Fi series, ‘Voltes V: Legacy,’ with Miguel Tanfelix, Radson Flores, Ysabel Ortega, and Raphael Landicho.
The sci-fi series features Martin del Rosario, Liezel Lopez, Epi Quizon, Carlo Gonzales, Gabby Eigenmann, Neil Ryan Sese, Albert Martinez, Christian Vasquez, Carla Abellana, Dennis Trillo, and many more.
The Kapuso sci-fi adaptation under the direction of Mark A. Reyes will be airing soon on GMA Network.
