Vice Ganda teased Darren Espanto about being in love with someone as the singer appeared to be blooming.
In It’s Showtime!‘s live episode on March 15, Espanto got invited to be one of the judges for the Tawag Ng Tanghalan segment.
When Espanto greeted the Madlang People, Vice Ganda then teased the singer for being in love.
The comedian then revealed that Espanto was talking to someone on his phone right before It’s Showtime! aired the live episode.
“Kaya pala ang guwapo-guwapo nito si Darren, ‘no?!
“At saka in love, e! Nag-hi lang ako sa kausap niya sa phone kanina,” said Vice Ganda.
Espanto then tried to divert the topic and said, “In love tayo sa work natin.”
But the singer got teased even more when It’s Showtime! hosts sang his hit 2014 song In Love ako Sa ‘Yo.
It’s Showtime! co-host Kim Chiu even asked for the first letter of Espanto’s loved one.
“Reveal naman, first letter lang!” she begged.
Vice Ganda then shared that Espanto’s mystery girl has a good attitude, along with her twin.
“Alam mo, tuwing nakikita ko yung batang iyon, nagha-hi, kumi-kiss sa akin. Mabait sila ng kambal niya,” he said.
Kim Chiu then said that there are only known twins in the showbiz industry, who go by the names Cassy and Mavy Legaspi.
Espanto is currently being linked to Cassy Legaspi. Espanto was often seen spending time with Legaspi and her family.
In February 2023, Legaspi and Espanto fulfilled their bucket list trip of traveling to Japan together. They even posted a photo of them together at Disneyland in Tokyo, Japan.
