Wowowin host Willie Revillame served his resignation paper to the Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS) after the network temporarily suspended its shows.
Will the TV host be able to return to the GMA Network after this?
In Cristy Fermin’s Showbiz Now Na update on April 3, she confirmed Revillame’s departure from the AMBS network.
“Isa pong source ang nakapagbalita sa amin na sumulat na po si Willie Revillame sa pamunuan ng ALLTV ng AMBS 2 at nag-resign na po siya, wala na siyang kinalaman sa istasyon.”
Fermin also claimed that Revillame already proved his devotion to ALLTV after he left the GMA network and join the Villar-owned company.
“Di ba utang na loob ang ang sinasabi nating dahilan kung bakit lumipat mula sa GMA 7 si Willie Revillame sa ALLTV.
“Siguro naman po ‘yung pang-iiwan ni Willie sa kanyang Wowowin na talagang kumikita siya ng milyon-milyon na talagang punumpuno siya ng commercials, sikat na sikat para iwanan niya (GMA) at sumama siya sa pamilya Villar ay tinatanawan niya ng utang na loob (ay) wala na tayong masasabi pa. Wala na siyang kailangang patunayan pa,” she said.
Before his transfer to AMBS, Revillame was with the GMA network for about 7 years with his Wowowin show.
His show was well-received in GMA as it became the longest-running solo-hosted variety show.
Now that the TV host has no legal contracts with AMBS, people are excited about his possible return to the GMA network.
However, others claimed that Revillame could not return to GMA after he left the network for AMBS.
In Revillame’s statement on his YouTube show in March 2022, he denied having regrets about not renewing his contract with the GMA Network.
