Amidst the growing speculation about the close relationship between former ‘Return to Paradise’ stars Derrick Monasterio and Elle Villanueva, many are curious about their official status as a couple.
When asked about it, they simply replied, “What you see is what you get.”
In an interview with Lhar Santiago for ‘Chika Minute’, the couple was asked when they would finally admit to their true status, to which Villanueva responded, “Kung may aaminin.”
Monasterio explained they have nothing to hide, and their feelings for each other are evident. He revealed, “What you see is what you get. Hindi naman namin dini-deny yung feelings namin with each other, hindi rin naman namin tinatago.”
“Basta comfortable kami sa isa’t isa and may care kami sa isa’t isa,” he added.
The two are currently in Siargao for Monasterio’s participation in a CrossFit competition. This is a fitness regimen that combines physical fitness and competitive sport, which the actor has thoroughly prepared for.
He shared, “Ito na siguro yung pinaka-prepared ko kasi andami ko ring ginawa na mga kung ano-ano pa, mga rehab-rehab, diet-diet, mga ganun. Nasa peak performance ako so sana makakuha tayo ng medal.”
The couple also planned a vacation in Siargao for Holy Week. As summer arrived, the two stars also shared some OOTD (Outfit of the Day) tips suitable for the season.
The couple also emphasized skincare importance, especially during the summer.
“When it comes to protection from the sun and aging, ‘yun talaga ‘yung number one na gusto namin na benefit ng sunblock,” Villanueva said.
In a previous interview, Monasterio revealed why he fell for Elle; it was her extreme concern about his growth.
Now that they are both 27 years old, the actor said it’s time to find the person he wants to settle down with. However, due to their careers, he mentioned that the ideal age for him to settle down fully would be around 35 or 40.
“Maaga mag-retire, forty or forty-five, gusto ko nagta-travel na ako sa buong mundo,” he concluded.
