Matteo Guidicelli finally opened up about his relationship with Sarah Geronimo’s mommy Divine.
Guidicelli always had a strained relationship with Mommy Divine since she opposed his marriage to Sarah Geronimo.
In an interview on ‘Fast Talk’ with Boy Abunda on May 15, the actor did not disclose the full details of his relationship with Mommy Divine. However, he said that he still shows respect.
The actor said, “Unang-una Tito Boy, they are my mom and dad, my father-in-law, and my mother-in-law and I want to respect them in the best way possible. I just wish one day everything will be okay because I know how much they love Sarah and I know how much Sarah loves them, too.”
He added, “We’re civil I would like to believe Tito Boy and I pray every day for strength, wisdom, and humility na hopefully one day maging okay ang lahat for Sarah’s peace of mind.”
Guidicelli then added that Geronimo still communicates with her parents.
“Yes, they have a connection naman and I think Sarah’s humility would always be love for her parents. At the end of the day, it’s just so important to realize how much we should honor our parents through thick and thin. Whatever happens in life, they are our parents, and they brought us to life and we have to honor them,” he said.
Matteo Guidicelli and Sarah Geronimo got engaged in November 2019 and tied the knot in a private and intimate ceremony on February 20, 2020. The wedding surprised many, as they kept it secret.
