On Thursday, Kapamilya actress Charlie Dizon finally put an end to long-standing rumors linking her romantically with actor Carlo Aquino.
During an interview with TV5, Dizon referred to Aquino as her boyfriend while participating in a game on the show.
“Opo, boyfriend ko po. Sobrang supportive din. Ay, first time ko sinabi sa inyo yan,” said Dizon.
The award-winning actress reaffirmed Aquino’s previous accounts of how they first met while working on the now-defunct ABS-CBN series “A Soldier’s Heart.”
However, it was during Star Magic’s US tour in August 2022 that the two stars had the opportunity to get to know each other on a deeper level.
When asked about the chemistry that made them click as a couple, Dizon credited their opposite personalities, which complemented each other perfectly.
In June, Aquino confirmed that he is indeed dating Dizon, putting an end to the speculations about their budding romance. He was seen celebrating the arrival of 2023 in La Union with Dizon and his family.
Speculations of a possible romance between the two stars began to surface in late December when they were spotted looking cozy together in a group photo.
