On July 24, seasoned actress and known Marcos loyalist Elizabeth Oropesa emotionally aired her resentments on her Facebook account about not being valued.
On a deleted post on her Facebook account, Oropesa was in tears while voicing her grievances.
“Sir, hindi ko sure kung ipo-post ko ito. Masama lang po ‘yung loob ko. Hindi ko mapigilan kasi, mahal namin kayo. Hindi ko lang maintindihan bakit parang ayaw mo sa amin. Parang bakit galit ka sa amin.
“‘Yung akin lang po, ‘yung pinagre-reportan mo ‘yung mga kasama mo na rin naman ngayon. Kami kahit kaunting importansya, kahit kaunting pagpapahalaga, wala?”
She then noted the person she was referring to placed value on other people instead of those who supported them.
“Eh nakikita ko naman po kung sino-sinong binibigyan ninyo ng importansya at pagpapahalaga na wala naman noong–wala naman noon.
“Pasensya na, ang sakit sakit lang sa dibdib. Mahal na mahal namin ang mga magulang mo–kayo. Parang ang sakit sakit na kahit ‘yung lider man lang, hindi mo maisip, ‘yung parang may maireport kami sa mga tao. Nilikom namin noon, para masabi naming totoo na nagbigay ka ng importansya, ng kaunting pagpapahalaga, ‘yun lang, ‘yun lang.”

He expressed her hopes that the person she referred to in the video would not take her message the wrong way.
“Sana ‘wag mong masamain itong mga sinabi ko, hindi mo ako kaaway, kakampi mo ako, hindi mo kami kaaway, kakampi mo kami. Salamat po sir.”

While Oropesa didn’t drop any names in her post, many believed that the actress was referring to President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr., who she strongly supported during the 2022 elections.
In an earlier interview, Oropesa also aired grievances towards PBBM, citing that she and other Marcos loyalists who supported the current president’s candidacy went unnoticed.
The interview also discussed whether Oropesa wanted to secure a post in the government, which she denied.
