Kapamilya network’s highly popular action-drama teleserye, ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ),’ has once again reclaimed the top spot in the overall ratings, surpassing its rival ’24 Oras.’
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, FPJBQ is now the number one program in the country. This achievement was first attained on June 21, when FPJBQ edged out 24 Oras by a mere 0.1 percent, with ratings of 12.7 percent and 12.6 percent, respectively.
On Wednesday, July 5, FPJBQ secured its position at the top again with a rating of 13.5 percent, surpassing ’24 Oras’ by 0.8 percent, as the latter obtained 12.7 percent. Meanwhile, ‘Voltes V: Legacy (VVL)’ settled for third place with a rating of 11.8 percent, 1.7 percent lower than FPJBQ.
Maintaining its dominance, FPJBQ continued to lead on Thursday, July 6, with a rating of 12.9 percent, 0.6 percent higher than ’24 Oras’ at 12.3 percent and 1.4 percent higher than rival VVL at 11.5 percent.
Prior to its ascent to the top spot, FPJBQ held the third position on Monday, July 3, with a rating of 12.0 percent, lagging behind ’24 Oras’ 13.1 percent in the first place.
On Tuesday, July 4, FPJBQ remained in third place with a rating of 11.7 percent, slightly lower than ‘Voltes V: Legacy’ at 11.9 percent and 1 percent lower than ’24 Oras,’ which achieved a rating of 12.7 percent.
The surge in FPJBQ’s ratings may be attributed to TV5’s expansion project, aimed at reaching approximately 18.5 million individuals residing in over 4.5 million Philippine households by August 2023.
TV5 had previously announced its transmission modernization efforts before the launch of TVJ’s newest noontime show on the Kapatid network.
