Kokoy De Santos feels fortunate to be part of Viva’s horror movie ‘Mary Cherry Chua,’ which is currently showing in cinemas nationwide.
He plays the role of Paco, the best friend of Karen portrayed by Ashley Diaz in the film.
Being one of the busiest young actors in the local showbiz scene, De Santos recently completed another movie for Viva titled ‘Death by Desire,’ a sexy flick directed by Prime Cruz. In the film, he stars alongside Iana Bernardez, Elora Espano, and Denise Esteban.
De Santos is frequently linked with fellow Kapuso talent Angel Guardian, with whom he was paired in ‘Running Man’ and ‘Pepito Manaloto.’ He clarifies that they are just good friends. Their bond strengthened during the filming of ‘Running Man’ in Korea, and they occasionally spend time together with their friend Buboy Villar. For now, both of them are primarily focused on their respective careers.
“We are very good friends. Naging close kami lalo when we’re doing ‘Running Man’ on location in Korea. Kapag walang work, kung minsan, lumalabas kami, with Buboy Villar na friend din namin. But right now, we’re both very busy, so sa career muna ang focus namin.”
In a report by Cata Tibayan last February, De Santos mentioned that he and Guardian hang out together when they have free time. When asked about courting her, he referred to her as his ‘special friend.’
As an in-demand actor, De Santos is currently part of the cast of the revamped ‘Bubble Gang’ and is involved in hit shows like ‘Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko,’ ‘The Write One,’ and ‘Voltes V: Legacy.’
