Showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin hinted that ‘Wowowin’ host Willie Revillame appears to be open to having a conversation with TAPE Inc., led by the Jalosjos siblings Jon-jon and Mayor Bullet Jalosjos.
In an episode of ‘Cristy FerMinute’ last July 3, Fermin revealed that the Jalosjos brothers had apparently invited Willie to be a guest on ‘Eat Bulaga!’ on GMA Network, which Revillame respectfully declined.
According to Fermin’s sources, Revillame was supposed to join TAPE’s ‘Eat Bulaga!’ to compete against the guesting of Megastar Sharon Cuneta on TV5’s ‘E.A.T.’ The invitation was for the July 1 episode of the show.
“Ang gusto po nila, lumabas si Willie (Revillame) sa di-lehitimong Eat Bulaga! at tatapatan ang unang sultada ng Tito, Vic, and Joey at Dabarkads dito po sa TV5. Gusto nila noong Sabado. Isa lang ang sinabi ni Willie, ‘Matindi ang respeto ko sa Tito, Vic, and Joey. Hindi ko magagawa ‘yon.’ Ang ganda ‘di ba?”
“Pero, kung ang dahilan kung bakit n’yo ko kaharap ngayon ay ang Wowowin, sige pag-usapan natin,” Willie allegedly remarked.
On February 4 this year, Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS) owned by Willie’s friend, former Senator Manny Villar, decided to temporarily suspend some of AllTV’s shows and programs, including ‘Wowowin.’
With the chances of Willie and TAPE Inc. negotiating for the comeback of ‘Wowowin,’ this will mark a second showdown between the TVJ and Willie as they had already faced off in the past with Revillame’s shows ‘Magandang Tanghali Bayan’ and ‘Wowowee.’
