On August 11, Kapuso star David Licauco revealed that he didn’t ask Jak Roberto about his romantic scenes with Barbie Forteza in the remake of Maging Sino Ka Man.
At the opening event of Blue Water Day Spa at the Estancia Mall, Pasig City, which LionhearTV covered, Licauco remarked that Roberto would have understood their situation since they’re both actors.
“Hindi ko natanong si Jak kasi I feel, maiintindihan naman niya ‘yung situation. Knowing him, he’s smart, smart enough na maintindihan and taga-showbiz din siya, so don’t think that would be a problem.”
As for Forteza, Licauco discussed what it was like working with his Maria Clara at Ibarra co-star on another TV project.
“I think, it’s only getting better everytime. Kasi, ‘yun na nga, ‘yung time na we spent together, almost everyday, mas nakikilala ko siya. Pati ‘yung mga nuances niya sa acting, na-experience ko. And it’s such a joy to work with Barbie kasi of course, napakagaling niya and ‘yung love niya for acting is contagious.
“And dati, madalas akong ma-late, ngayon hindi na, dahil kay Barbie, kasi nagagalit siya sa akin. So I think kung sa next ko na teleserye, or movie, kung hindi ko man siya kasama, no ako din.”
He also revealed that they’ve already taped a few romantic scenes for their upcoming series remake of the 1991 film ‘Maging Sino Ka Man.’
“Mayroon naman, mayroon naman, of course, kasi ‘yung genre ng teleserye is rom-com na action so meron. Secret, kaunti.”
