Ivana Alawi, the popular celebrity vlogger with 16.8 million YouTube followers, has just inked a network contract in July and is set to join the cast of ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,’ led by Coco Martin.
The series currently enjoys top ratings nationwide.
While there have been speculations that Ivana might replace Lovi Poe as Coco Martin’s main love interest in the show, it appears that Lovi will continue her role as Mokang despite her recent marriage. Ivana’s character is expected to be an additional leading lady in the series.
Ivana recently expressed her desire to work with Coco Martin, and it seems her wish has been granted swiftly by the network’s management. She also mentioned her interest in collaborating with other actors such as Joshua Garcia and KathNiel.
Ivana’s future with ABS-CBN looks promising, given her successive projects. She is also rumored to be working on a movie with Star Cinema before the year concludes.
Ivana signed her first exclusive contract with ABS-CBN three years ago and has since been part of several television series and movies, including ‘Mea Culpa: Sino Ang May Sala,’ ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,’ ‘A Family Affair,’ and ‘Partners In Crime,’ where she starred alongside Vice Ganda.
