Award-winning actress Nadine Lustre has responded to individuals who have misconstrued her boyfriend’s friendships with other women and accused him of cheating.
Lustre expressed her frustration with what she’s been reading on social media regarding her non-showbiz boyfriend, Christophe Bariou, especially the gossip suggesting that he’s fooling around and flirting with other girls.
A netizen with the handle @satorreedgar was allegedly spreading the news about her boyfriend’s supposed infidelity based on a comment he made on Christophe’s post.
In response, Nadine put this netizen in their place. She stated, “Stop acting like you’re concerned. You’re just another hater tryna create drama. 2023 na, gawa nalang tayong vegan cheese.”
Another user insinuated that Christophe was being unfaithful by being friends with other women.
Nadine hit back, saying, “How rude and offensive. Lagi ko ding kasama yung mga guy friends ko recently, but that doesn’t mean Im cheating. ‘Di ba siya pwedeng magka friends na girls? Di ko kaya yung backwards mentality mo teh.”
Yesterday, she also shared her thoughts on people who maintain friendships with individuals of the opposite sex, even when they’re in a relationship.

She also addressed individuals who called her “tanga” (fool). “I’m in complete awe that some of ‘my fans’ actually called me ‘tanga’ in their group chat just because they think they can live my life better than I can. Also, these are the same people who spread gossip to others. I’m grateful the real ones never engage with their [bull****], to be honest.”
Furthermore, she urged people not to approach her with self-righteous and condescending lectures if they believe in gossip. She finds it toxic.
Nadine and Christophe publicly confirmed their relationship in January 2022. Their love story began when the actress moved to Siargao Island, where her boyfriend is based.
