Ryan Bang and Jhong Hilario, well-known figures from the entertainment industry, paid a light-hearted visit to the “Encantadia” costume display at the GMA Network Center.
Their playful banter led to some humorous comments aimed at their fellow “It’s Showtime” co-host, Karylle Tatlonghari-Yuzon.
The dynamic duo visited the GMA Network headquarters for an engaging interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” this Tuesday.
During their visit, Jhong Hilario took advantage of the opportunity and captured a video with the backdrop of the iconic “Encantadia” display. With a mischievous grin, he greeted, “Hello Alena.”
Ryan Bang, not to be outdone in the teasing department, pointed to the faceless mannequin depicting Sang’gre Alena and quipped, “Wala pala mukha ni Ate Karylle.”
In a playful tone, he continued, “Umakyat pa kami dito para mag-picture, wala ka pala ilong, wala ka pala bibig, wala ka pala mata. Di pala ikaw eh, umakyat pa tayo dito.”
Jhong Hilario, finding Ryan’s antics utterly amusing, couldn’t help but burst into laughter.
Taking to the world of social media, Karylle responded in good spirits to the video, sharing her reaction with the words, “Arayyyyyy hahahahaha!”

Karylle has a special connection with “Encantadia,” having been a part of the original version of the series back in 2006. Notably, when “It’s Showtime” made its debut on GMA Network’s GTV last July, she took the opportunity to extend a warm greeting to her fellow Sang’gre Gabbi Garcia, who portrayed Alena in the 2016 remake.
Director Mark Reyes, known for his association with the “Encantadia” series, has previously hinted at the possibility of an “Encantadia” multiverse. He also revealed an exciting development: the four Sang’gres are set to make appearances in the much-anticipated “Sang’gre: Encantadia Chronicles.”
