On August 20, Kapuso host Kim Atienza proudly shared that the ‘Tiktoclock’ cast has no ‘Diva.’

At the Kadayawan Festival in Davao City, which LionhearTV covered, Atienza discussed how the cast built a bond behind the scenes of the Kapuso variety show.

“Sa chemistry po ng grupo namin, wala po kaming Diva. Ang tingin namin sa isa’t isa ay pantay-pantay. And we give each other moments, bagamat inaasar ko palagi si Faith, kasama sa ano ‘yun eh–masarap siyang asarin eh. Hindi dahil competition ko si Faith or competition namin si Faith, ganon lang, mas nakakatuwa siya kapag naasar. ‘Yun ‘yung chemistry ng grupo.”

Atienza also promised that they would continue to do their best as a show following ‘Tiktoclock’s anniversary.

“May kasabihan po tayo sa Banal na nakasulat, we have some plans, but God has the steps. We can only plan so much, pero kung hindi will ni Lord, hindi mangyayari. But what we can do is to glorify God in what we do.

“We make the show as excellent as we /can that day, as fun as possible that /day. And kung ‘yung that day, sa susunod na araw at sa susunond na araw, kung will ni Lord, aabot kami ng 10 years. But all we can prove is to be excellent– this particular day.”

He noted that their focus as a Kapuso program is to appeal to TV viewers amid the digital shift in media.

“Ang ratings po kasi ngayon, iba na eh. People have shifted to the digital. But based on the study that I saw, 91%– our friends ‘yung mga kaibigan namin, ‘yung may kaya ng kaunti sa buhay, hindi nanonood ng TV eh. Nasa telepono lang lahat.

“Ngunit ang 91 porsyento ng mga Pilipino, lalong lalo na ang mahihirap, nasa telebisyon pa rin at ito ang aming target market. So talagang gawin ang lahat para mapaligaya sila so we stick to the television set as we know it at hindi mag-digital.”

As for ‘Tiktoclock,’ hosts Pokwang, Atienza, Faith da Silva, Rabiya Mateo, and Jayson Gainza went to Davao City to bring their all-out and positive energy to the Kapuso Mall Shows in Ayala Malls Abreeza, Davao City.

‘Tiktoclock’ airs Monday to Friday on GMA Network at 11:15 AM.
