Despite rumors circulating on social media, it appears that Vic Sotto’s sitcom, ‘Open 24/7,’ on GMA Network will not be concluding in August.
Contrary to speculations, there is no indication that the show is nearing its farewell.
Recent developments suggest that the sitcom continues to operate normally. The cast, except for Maja Salvador, who recently celebrated her wedding with Rambo Nuñez, completed a taping session last Tuesday.
One of the reasons cited for the alleged conclusion of Vic Sotto’s sitcom on GMA Network is his concurrent appearance on TV5’s ‘E.A.T.’ However, it is worth noting that his presence on ‘E.A.T.’ does not necessarily imply exclusivity.
At present, there are no concrete follow-up reports suggesting the imminent end of ‘Open 24/7’ this month.
In the ongoing storyline, Boss E.Z. (Vic Sotto) falls ill and requires care for a swift recovery. Kitty (Sofia Pablo) manages to locate Mikaela (Maja Salvador), a nurse with whom her uncle had a previous disagreement, to attend to E.Z.
‘Open 24/7’ began airing on May 27 and has reached a total of 13 episodes. Viewers can catch the show every 9:30 p.m. on GMA Network, following ‘#MPK (Magpakailanman).’
