It seems that Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda may have developed a fear of cake icing following the controversy involving him and his partner Ion Perez related to them eating cake using their fingers in the ‘Isip Bata’ segment of “It’s Showtime.”
In the Saturday episode of the noontime show on August 19, the hosts were celebrating the birthday of singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid.
As Ogie was about to blow out the candles on the cake, Vice appeared to distance himself from it, possibly due to the previous incident.

It can be recalled that the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) summoned the producers of ‘It’s Showtime’ and issued a notice to appear and testify on July 31 over the alleged indecent acts of hosts Vice Ganda and Ion Perez on air.
During the show’s July 25 episode, the two hosts were being affectionate toward each other, with Ion holding a cake and using his fingers to taste the icing. Ion sensually closed his eyes as he slowly licked the icing off his fingers. He then approached Vice, who took some of the icing from Ion’s fingers with her own before tasting it.
The MTRCB noted in a Facebook post that the scene violated Section 3c of Presidential Decree No. 1986, which created the board.
In a recent YouTube vlog, Vice humorously shared, “Isang araw nagutom ako. Gusto ko kumain ng cake. At dahil sinusumpa ko na ang cake. Nagpaluto ako ng pancake! At dahil wala akong content. Sorry Babe, akin na muna ito.” In the video, Ion can be seen preparing pancakes for Vice, creating a heartwarming scene.

Nevertheless, in relation to Ogie’s birthday, they had his best friend, Michael V., and Manilyn Reynes as guests to greet their friend. It’s worth noting that Bitoy and Ogie had been working together for a long time on the comedy show ‘Bubble Gang’ before Ogie transferred to another network.
Ogie expressed his gratitude to GMA Network, stating that they did not “hold back” his two friends for his special day.
It seems that visits by Kapuso stars to ‘It’s Showtime’ are becoming more common, especially since it is now available on GTV channel 11.
