In a recent Facebook post, Aiko Melendez, a veteran actress in the Philippine entertainment industry, voiced her concerns about an unnamed actor whom she perceived as displaying arrogance.

While she did not explicitly identify the actor, Aiko took the opportunity to address the issue of attitude within the industry.
In her Facebook post, Aiko urged the actor, referred to only as “JP,” to exercise humility and refrain from being overly arrogant. She emphasized that, in her opinion, the actor had not yet achieved a level of success or recognition in the industry that would warrant such behavior.
“Dios Mio JP, wag ka masyadong mayabang… wala ka pa napapatunayan [sa] industriya para maging mayabang!” Aiko’s post read.
She further elaborated that holding the lead role in projects did not justify having a negative or haughty attitude towards others.
“Lord, turuan nyo naman itong bagets nato matutong makisama. Di porket bida ka, attitude ka. Very wrong!” Aiko added that she believed the actor should consider attending seminars or workshops to improve their interpersonal skills. “Seminar ka muna para maging mabait ka.”
Although Aiko’s original post has since been deleted, it sparked curiosity among netizens regarding the identity of the actor referred to as “JP.”
Aiko Melendez has a storied career that began as a child star in the 1980s under Regal Films. She rose to fame as one of the most prominent leading ladies in the 1990s, starring alongside renowned leading men such as Richard Gomez, Jomari Yllana, and Aga Muhlach. Her most recent appearance was in GMA Network’s ‘Mano Po Legacy: The Flower Sisters,’ a project that concluded earlier this year.
