Ellen Adarna recently addressed rumors and concerns from fans regarding her facial appearance, specifically focusing on her nose.
Some fans had expressed surprise upon learning that Ellen had undergone a botox procedure on her nose in the past.
In response to the speculations, Ellen clarified that while she had indeed opted for botox injections in her nose, she had not undergone any surgical nose enhancement.
She explained that she had chosen to have botox to address specific concerns related to her work in showbiz, especially during close-up shots and emotional scenes.
“Yes I had my nose botox before, when I was still active in showbiz. Because what botox does to the nose, it doesn’t make your nose flare. And when I was still active, of course, you’re in front of the camera, the close up, when you cry (bumubuka ilong).
“That’s the reason why I had it na. But my nose has never been under the knife, no cut whatsoever. This is my natural nose. And botox is not permanent, and I haven’t done it in a long time. So, my nose is back to, it can flare again!” Ellen explained.
She went on to clarify that botox is a non-permanent procedure and that she had not had it for a long time. As a result, her nose had returned to its natural state, with the ability to flare as needed.
Ellen Adarna, who has been open about her mental health struggles, took a hiatus from showbiz after giving birth to her son Elias with actor John Lloyd Cruz in 2018. She later started dating actor Derek Ramsay, and the two got married in November 2021. Ellen has expressed contentment with her current life and has no plans to return to showbiz, as her focus remains on her role as a wife and mother.
