On September 6, actor John Arcilla revealed details about his five upcoming projects.
At the ‘SpinGo’ Media Pre-Game event, which LionhearTV attended, Arcilla disclosed that he has three films underway and two series in production, one from Netflix and one from Dreamscape Entertainment.
“Well actually, may kasabay akong ginagawa na tatlong pelikula ngayon. And then may dalawa akong series na upcoming, isa para sa Netflix, isa para sa Dreamscape. So bale five projects ang kasabay nito na namamaneho–nama-manage ko naman.”
He noted how he switches between his roles and commitments and manages his schedule without sacrificing his top-notch performance.
“Basta malinaw kasi sa akin backbone ng isang character, alam ko na kung saan ko siya dadalhin. So kahit tatlo ‘yung sabay-sabay ko gagawin, nasubukan ko na kasi ‘yan noon. Kasi kinakabahan ako noong–kasi ayaw kong maging half-baked, definitely ayaw kong maging half-baked.
“Sabi ko nga, ika-cancel natin ang isa or dalawa kapag hindi– or maha-half-baked ako. Buti na lang ito, two times a week lang. So ibig sabihin, five times a week pa ako para sa ibang projects.
“Ako naman kapag nakita ko na ‘yung backbone ng isang project na ginagawa ko, alam ko na kung saan ko siya dadalhin, so ito walang problema kasi ako ‘to. So wala akong kailangan i-characterize.”
As for his hosting stint in ‘SpinGo,’ Arcilla considers the position a way to unwind from his drama-heavy roles.
“Ang maganda lang dito, nakaka-unwind ka, nakaka-relax ka, so sobrang blessing sa akin itong pagho-host. Hindi siya makakasagabal or magiging hindrance at all. In fact makakadagdag ito para ma-refresh ako sa mga gagawin kong kasabay na project.”
Arcilla hosts the Kapatid Network game show ‘SpinGo,’ with the Spingorgeous Girl Sam Caloso.
