On October 4, Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards remarked that he manifested his pairing with Julia Montes.
At the media event for ‘Five Break Ups and A Romance,’ which LionhearTV covered, Richards recalled his tweet from 2012 about working with Montes, citing how he manifested his wish to work with the Kapamilya actress.
“That tweet was 2012, so sobrang tagal na. And I think it gives the idea of manifesting legitimacy, na parang when you manifest something, when you want something to happen, one way or another– the Lord will find his way for it to happen. And I was never wrong.”
He also considered the upcoming romance drama with Montes as one of his career milestones.
“Being able to work with this very talented lady, and with Direk, and the whole cast, the whole team, this is one for the books.
“And like what I’ve said, a while ago na, I think this is one of the my best projects in 2023, if not so far, as an actor, ito ‘yung isa sa mga– I would consider, ito ‘yung ikukwento ko sa mga tao, once na tumanda ako kasi it really made an impact to me.”
Montes emotionally responded to Richards’ statement, citing how flattered and blessed she felt about working with the Kapuso actor.
“Siyempre ‘yung first reaction po doon, flattered. And I can say, I was very blessed to be part of this film and to be paired with Alden, bukod sa lagi nating naririnig kung ano ‘yung mga good side ni Alden, he really proved to me na he’s really very generous, talented, and I’ll take this opportunity na– nae-emotional ako ba’t ganon.”
She highlighted how proud she felt being part of the project.
“Super proud ako kasi big part siya nito eh and this film is really special to me and this group really made an impact sa akin. So I think kita naman di ba? Basta no words can express how happy and blessed ako to be part of this film, and really one for the books talaga ‘to. And naniniwala ako na in God’s perfect timing, ibibigay sayo ‘yung project na maha-happy ka sa soul mo na, ‘Thank you Lord, ito ‘yun.'”
