Showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin has issued a response to John Castillo Soberano, the father of actress Liza Soberano, after he made comments regarding his daughter’s Hollywood debut film, ‘Lisa Frankenstein.’
This response came following the announcement of the film’s premiere date, which was shared by Liza.
In his social media comment, John Castillo Soberano wrote, “I can’t wait ano ilalabas ng mga camp ng Cristy [Fermin] & Ogie D ngaun…” This remark prompted a reaction from Cristy Fermin, who addressed the matter on her program.
Much like Liza’s former talent manager, Ogie Diaz, Cristy Fermin expressed her hope for Liza’s success despite the various challenges she has faced.
In addition, Fermin pointed out that John had misspelled her last name in his post, emphasizing the correct spelling as “F” rather than “P.”
It’s worth noting that Liza Soberano has been the subject of discussions involving Cristy Fermin and Romel Chika in recent times.
Ogie Diaz also previously responded to the issue and offered advice to Liza’s father, questioning how he should respond to such comments. Diaz emphasized that he has nothing to hide and is not involved in promoting controversy.
Instead, he chose to extend his congratulations to Liza for her success in her Hollywood debut film, scheduled for release in February.
