Annabelle Rama’s recent interview with ABS-CBN showbiz reporter MJ Felipe has left many wondering about the real status of Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati’s relationship.
In the interview, Richard’s mother explicitly mentioned that she was restricted from discussing the rumored separation between her son and his wife.
While Annabelle acknowledged that Richard has been staying with her for a month, she carefully avoided directly confirming the alleged split between Richard and Sarah.
The ambiguous statements fueled speculation, but Annabelle did not provide a clear affirmation of her son’s relationship status.

Addressing questions about whether the interview was planned, MJ clarified that it was an ambushed interview, and he took the opportunity to ask additional questions, some of which Annabelle chose not to answer before walking away.
During the conversation with MJ, he revealed his surprise at seeing Annabelle at the event he was covering, leading him to conduct an impromptu interview.
Despite the ambiguity in Annabelle’s responses, she expressed happiness at the prospect of spending the upcoming holidays with the family, including Richard, who plans to join them for a vacation abroad.
