On January 4, netizens were baffled by the changes in the Kapamilya action drama FPJ’s Batang Quiapo after Lovi Poe’s exit.
Poe’s exit from the Kapamilya action-drama surprised fans of the Batang Quiapo.
During Episode 232 of FPJBQ, viewers saw Tanggol (Coco Martin) fighting off the forces of (Ramon) Christopher de Leon. However, Olga (Irma Adlawan), who was stealthily hiding from the sidelines, had Tanggol at gunpoint.
Mokang (Poe) saw that Tanggol’s life was in danger, so she lept in front of the bullet. It hit her right in the head, which proved lethal, effectively ending her character’s story in the Kapamilya action series.
Netizens were baffled by the abrupt revision in the storyline for the Kapamilya action drama, wherein some sequences from the ‘Bagong Yugto’ trailer were seemingly cut from the series.
So what happened to the original teaser where Tanggol, Mokang and Ramon met together in one location with guns pointing?

They also had mixed reactions regarding Mokang’s end in the series, with some expressing disappointment while others had an understanding perception of Poe’s decision to leave the show.

As for Poe, she penned a heartfelt message on her Instagram account, highlighting her journey with FPJ’s Batang Quiapo and her decision to ‘turn the page.’ She thanked ABS-CBN and the entire cast and crew of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo and left a message for Coco Martin, noting how her father’s legacy was in great hands.
