On January 17, actress Max Eigenmann hoped her role in the international film Raging Grace would open more opportunities for her.
During the red-carpet premiere of Raging Grace, which LionhearTV covered, Eigenmann talked about her hopes of getting more international projects after landing the role in the international film.
“Not yet, but I’m counting on it.”
She also maintained that she’s open to work on local and international projects.
“Absolutely, I’m super open to opportunities. It was such a fun experience, and I would like to experience it again–yes, definitely, local and international pareho.”
She then discussed the audition process and production for the role in Raging Grace.
“I auditioned. So, one of the [co-producers] of the film–[her] name is Darlene Malima, she’s Filipina producer, she’s the Filipina-co-producer. So, she asked me to audition for the [film] in 2021 around like May.
“The audition process, [like] about two months, and in July of 2021–that’s when I got the part. And by October, I flew to London and shot the film there until December.”
She also recounted the bond she built with her co-stars in the international film.
“You know what, it was super, super fun. And to be honest, I think that regardless of the chemistry as parang antagonist and protagonist that I had with Catherine’s character and David’s character–I think, I truly personally believe na ‘yung reason kung bakit nag-work ‘yun is dahil sobrang friends kami outside of– parang naging super friends kami behind the camera. So ‘yung trust to be able to go through the scenes as we did was flawless because of the friendship that we had each other.”
Raging Grace stars Max Eigenmann, Jaeden Paige Boadilla, Leanne Best, and David Hayman.
Under the direction of Paris Zarcilla, Raging Grace opens in cinemas on January 19.
