In the midst of speculations surrounding the engagement of celebrity couple Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque, seasoned showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin shared her observations about the pair’s recent vacation in Japan.
Fermin, along with Romel Chika and Wendell Alvarez on ‘Showbiz Now Na,’ discussed the perceived changes in the couple’s dynamics.
Fermin specifically pointed out that she noticed a lack of the usual sweetness between Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque during their Japan trip.
In her commentary, Fermin mentioned that typically, when the couple embarks on tours, they display strong affection, sharing intimate moments and kisses. However, the veteran columnist observed a distinct shift in their behavior during the Japan vacation, noting a reduced level of visible affection.
“Napanood ko ‘yung pagpunta nila sa Japan, mayroon lang akong napansin. Hindi ba kapag nagtu-tour silang dalawa, super close, super loving-loving, mayroong halikan talaga,” Cristy shared her observation. “‘Yung sa Japan hindi ko masyadong naramdaman ‘yun.”
Romel Chika playfully suggested that the change might be attributed to fluctuating moods during the trip, to which Fermin concurred, hinting at the possibility of underlying issues between the engaged couple.
Fermin also touched upon recent rumors regarding Dominic Roque’s statement about Daniel Padilla not being invited to their wedding. According to Fermin, Bea Alonzo’s camp might have taken offense as the wedding entourage hadn’t been finalized yet, and Daniel Padilla’s statement seemingly preempted any official announcements.
“Kasi po, hindi pa naman pala naaayos ang entourage. Wala pa pala. Naunahan kaagad nung kay Daniel Padilla parang ganoon,” said Cristy.
Referencing Bea Alonzo’s recent evasive interview, where she provided no substantial updates on her upcoming marriage, Fermin expressed concern. She suggested that when a woman avoids questions about her impending wedding and fails to exhibit the expected excitement, it could raise eyebrows and lead to speculation about the true status of Bea and Dominic’s relationship.
“Kapag ganyan si Bea na very evasive siya, ‘yung tinatanong walang sinasabi… ay nakakatakot ‘yun. Kasi ang isang babaeng ikakasal may kakambal ‘yan na kilig,” she added.
As fans and onlookers continue to speculate, the lack of clear updates from the couple has intensified curiosity about the future of Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque’s relationship.
