In our interview with the entertainment press, Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo openly acknowledged that she and her partner, Dominic Roque, have not yet solidified any plans for their wedding.
Responding to inquiries about potential wedding arrangements, Bea straightforwardly stated, “Wala pang plano”.
When discussing the responsibility of organizing wedding plans, Bea underscored the significance of equality in a relationship, remarking, “I think it’s a two-way relationship. Hindi lang dapat lalaki (ang may effort) [It shouldn’t be just the man making the effort]. We are pushing for equality. So equality means yung effort equal [equal effort]. Sa relationship namin wala namang mas nag-e-effort at hindi nag-e-effort [In our relationship, there’s no one making more effort than the other].”
Bea also hinted at the possibility that their hectic schedules might hinder them from celebrating Valentine’s Day together.
She conveyed, “Wala pa rin talaga. Parang taping day nga namin yan eh”.
Concerning specific wedding plans, Bea opted to keep details under wraps, stating, “Wala pa talaga kaya wala akong ma-share”.
Regarding potential guests, including Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, Bea replied, “Alam mo wala pa talaga. I can’t tell you anything just yet”.
When probed about her ideal wedding, Bea mentioned, “I’ll tell you kapag meron na akong idea. Right now, wala pa”. She explained their busy schedules with upcoming projects, including a teleserye.
Bea also refrained from divulging information about their chosen godparents for the wedding. “Wala pa talaga. Wala pa talaga akong masabi sa inyo”, she shared.
In September 2023, Bea expressed in her vlog her aspiration to exchange vows with Dominic in 2024. The couple got engaged in Quezon City in July 2023. While Bea has kept details about their wedding on the down-low, Dominic has indicated they are actively working on preparations and even mentioned extending an invitation to Kathryn Bernardo.
