Roque’s statement aims to clarify several points, including the allegation regarding an alleged condominium unit. While Roque acknowledges leasing a unit owned by Dapitan City Mayor Bullet Jalosjos, he refutes claims that the mayor acted as a “benefactor” to him.
The actor expresses regret and extends an apology to Mayor Jalosjos and his family for being inadvertently involved in the public discourse due to Fermin’s remarks.
Additionally, the statement addresses Fermin’s insinuation regarding Congressman Bong Suntay’s involvement as one of Roque’s “suspected benefactors.” Roque’s representatives assert that such implications unreasonably cast doubt on the congressman’s sexuality.
Moreover, Roque clarifies that he does not own any Clean Fuel gas stations, contrary to Fermin’s suggestions, as all Clean Fuel stations are company-owned.
