The unexpected absence of the Kapamilya morning talk show ‘Magandang Buhay’ on TV5 last Monday has left viewers puzzled and speculating about its future.
Without any prior announcement, many tuned in expecting to catch the show at its new timeslot of 6:00 am on the Kapatid Network, as announced by TV5 last week.
However, viewers were greeted with the radio show ‘Ted Failon at DJ Chacha sa Radyo5’ instead of the anticipated ‘Magandang Buhay.’
‘Magandang Buhay,’ featuring hosts Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Jolina Magdangal, and Melai Cantiveros, originally aired at 9:00 am on TV5 starting February 6, 2023. Later, on June 19, 2023, it was moved to the less favorable 7:00 am timeslot, where only replays were broadcasted.

Despite the lack of an official statement, the absence of the show was confirmed through a recent cover upload on Monday, which notably omitted the TV5 logo, signaling a potential departure from the network.
As of now, there has been no comment from the hosts regarding their departure from TV5.
Speculations are circulating that the show might find a new home on GTV. However, this remains unconfirmed, and viewers are eagerly awaiting any updates on the future of ‘Magandang Buhay.’
