Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla has once again captured the attention of netizens with her response to a viral video featuring her husband, Senator Robin Padilla, and renowned singer Regine Velasquez sharing a kiss onstage.

In a recent social media post, Mariel addressed the viral video, explaining that she shared it because she was tagged by numerous people. She even tagged Ogie Alcasid, Regine’s husband, in her post.

With a touch of humor, Mariel’s caption read, “Ang daming nag tag sakin 😂 mas madami pa nag tag sakin dito kesa sa iv drip. Oh ayan masaya na kayo? Ako na nag share… happy? Happy na ba lahat? 🤪🤪🤪 tag ko na din si kuya Ogie Alcasid kasi dalawa kami tag niyo. YEHEY!!!! 😂😂😂”

Mariel’s post quickly gained traction, accumulating over 110,000 laugh reactions on Facebook. Netizens flooded the comment section, expressing their delight at her lighthearted response to the situation.

This comes shortly after Mariel faced criticism on social media for her “drip session” inside the Senate.

Mariel previously defended herself, emphasizing that she did not intend to offend anyone and apologized if anyone felt offended. Sen. Robin also issued an apology, assuring that the incident would not happen again.
