Newest addition to ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ family, Yce Navarro has responded calmly to online critics who have targeted his with negative comments.
Yce is the son of ‘It’s Showtime’ host Vhong Navarro.
During a recent episode of ‘Oras ng Opinyon, Talakayan, at Diskusyon’ on Thursday, March 7, host Chaps Manansala interviewed Navarro about his thoughts on the criticisms he has received.
Prior to answering, Navarro made a playful face at the camera and shared a laugh.
“Okay,” he began, “Wala naman akong magagawa. May opinyon kayo, okay. Unbothered kasi ‘di ko nakikita. ‘Pag nakita ko, iiyak ako.”
Navarro also took a moment to express his gratitude to his supporters, particularly his dedicated fans known as the Ycesters. He revealed that some of his fans have expressed interest in forming an official fan club, a gesture that deeply touched him.
“Thank you sa suporta. Lalo na ‘yong mga Ycesters. May mga nagtanong sa akin kung pwede silang maging official fans club ko. Ang sweet lang na may mga gano’n na pala. Thank you sa suporta,” Navarro conveyed to his fans.
Navarro’s introduction as part of the cast of “Batang Quiapo” was announced in the series’ 1st-anniversary trailer released on February 17. However, his arrival was met with criticism regarding his physical appearance, prompting negative comments from certain netizens.
Despite this, Navarro remains resilient and focused on his work.
