Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson addressed the longstanding misconception of him being a ‘heartbreaker’ during a recent interview with Karen Davila.
In the latest episode of Davila’s vlog, released on June 6, Anderson opened up about the perception that has followed him throughout his career.
Davila asked Anderson what he thought was the biggest misconception about him. When he hesitated, Davila suggested, “You’re a heartbreaker.”
Anderson responded candidly, saying, “Heartbreaker? You know, my heart was broken at the same time, e, you know? It wasn’t, hindi naman ’yon madaling-madali. Maybe there’s a situation na ako ’yong umayaw na, but it doesn’t mean na, sobrang dali lang ’yon para sa ’kin.”
He continued, “Any aspect naman ’yon, hindi lang ’yon sa girlfriend. But, you know, we hurt people around us all the time, and hindi naman ibig sabihin na wala lang sa ’kin ’yon.”
This topic resurfaced following a January 2023 interview where Anderson’s ex-girlfriend, Bea Alonzo, revealed on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’ that Anderson had ghosted her.
